The Youth Choir serves as an important arm of the ministry, using music as a means of worship, evangelism, and spiritual edification. Choristers are encouraged to combine musical excellence with godly character, humility, and a sincere commitment to serving God.
Every member is expected to uphold biblical standards while contributing to the advancement of God's kingdom through music ministry.

The Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) is a Bible-believing Christian church committed to proclaiming the full gospel of Jesus Christ through sound biblical teaching, holy living, evangelism, discipleship, and missionary outreach. Since its inception in 1973, the ministry has grown into a global Christian organization with churches, campuses, and missions in numerous countries across the world.
The ministry places a strong emphasis on personal salvation, spiritual growth, practical Christian living, and the authority of the Holy Scriptures. Through regular worship services, Bible studies, leadership training, youth and children's ministries, and community outreach programs, DCLM is dedicated to nurturing believers into mature disciples of Christ who positively impact their families, communities, and society.
Our History
Deeper Christian Life Ministry began in 1973 as a small Bible study group of fifteen university students in Lagos, Nigeria, led by Pastor (Dr.) Williams Folorunso Kumuyi. What started as a search for the deeper truths of Scripture grew steadily into a worldwide ministry, with the Deeper Life Bible Church established as its worship arm.
Today the ministry is present across Nigeria and in many nations of the world, with a continued commitment to biblical holiness, evangelism and discipleship. The Rivers Central Youth Choir stands in this heritage — young people serving God with their voices and instruments, to the glory of God.
